7-9年级学生作品(1)

7年级:

Students had to describe a place they would bring their class to on a field trip. Kevin planned a trip to a soccer stadium in England. Kevin’s an outstanding student who always produces great work!

学生们描述他们与班级同学一起旅行的野营地。Kevin 计划了一场去英国足球体育场的旅行,他是一个总能写出优秀作品来的优秀学生。

We learned about the solar system and the universe. We talked about the stars dwelling in the solar system. The students are fascinated by the amazing space. They were asked to do some research on the solar system, and make an poster about it. They have done some wonderful works.

我们学习了关于太阳系的内容。我们讨论了太阳系里的行星。学生对宇宙抱有幻想。老师要求他们对太阳系做一些研究,并做一幅和太阳系有关的海报,这是他们的优秀作品。

We learned some passages about universe. Students are being trained to use graphic ognizer to compare two objects. At the same time, at the begining of this semester, they also a learning to write more about one topic.  Most of them are doing great and improving their sentence writing.
我们学习了关于宇宙的内容。老师训练学生使用结构图来对比两个内容。同时,在这学期的开始,他们也学习了如何针对一个话题写更多的内容。他们中绝大多数人做得都很好,提升了他们的写作。

8年级:

This is the 2nd week of this semester.  We started to learn the first unit in Maple Leaf English Book 2 and the Module 1 in public school textbook for 8th grader.  We focused on the endangered animals and the relationship between animals and human, also environment and human.  Students put a lot effort on looking for related resources and they did a great job on writing about this topic.  These are some good work done by level 8 students.

开学第二个星期,我们开始学习枫叶英语教材第二册的第一单元,和公办校英语教材第一模块。我们重点研读了大蓝鲸的故事,分析了动物与人类、环境与人类之间的关系。学生们下了不少功夫拓展阅读,在相关话题的写作作业中表现出色。以下是部分L8级别学生的作业。L8.jpg

The level 8 students learned about endangered animals and how can human protect them. The students really took this topic to their heart and came up with some very good ideas. This is a poster the students made to show how to protect endangered animals.

8年级的学生学习了濒危动物的内容,他们得知了人类应该如何保护他们。学生们真的用心去对待这个话题,相出了很好的点子。这是学生们做出的海报,海报上展示了如何保护濒危动物。

For this assignment, students were asked to write a passage about “Advantages and Disadvantages of Raising a Pet". The major part of this assignment was for the students to practice the structure of an exposition.

practice interpret important information into a diagram.   

这项作业中,老师要求学生们读一篇文章,在头脑中勾勒一幅地图。这项作业主要是要求学生将重要信息罗列进表格。

项作业,老师要求学生写一篇文章关于养宠物的利与弊。这项作业的主要内容是为了锻炼学生阐述时的结构意识。

9年级:

For this assignment, students were asked to read an article and make a mind map. The major part of this assignment was for the

students to practice inrerpret important information into a diagram.   

这项作业中,老师要求学生们读一篇文章,在头脑中勾勒一幅地图。这项作业主要是要求学生将重要信息罗列进表格。IMG_20180927_133931.jpg

For this assignment, students were asked to create a short speech.  The topic of the speech was, "Should animals be used by humans for work."  

Students needed to write a speech either for or against animals being used for work and then give the speech in small groups.  

这项作业中,老师要求学生编一个简短的演讲。演讲的题目是:“人们应该用动物们来工作吗?”学生们需要写一篇演讲来支持这个话题或者反对这个话题,然后在小组中分享自己的演讲。
