九年级泰达高中体验日圆满成功

       Gr. 9 Students Successfully Participated in the High School Curriculum

      On the morning of March 14th, Gr. 9 students of Huayuan Campus went to the high school apartment of TEDA with some teachers to experience the high school curriculum there for half a day.

3月14日,华苑枫叶九年级学生在老师们的带领下来到泰达枫叶的高中部做了一次为期半天的BC高中体验日活动。

    Before the curriculum, Mr. Peter Embleton, the BC principal gave our students a brief introduction to each building and communicated with the students in a warm way. And then he explained the BC curriculum and credits which left the students different experience.During the period, the students from Huayuan asked some questions about BC curriculum. From the new school year, the style of BC curriculum will change. The BC curriculum will put two related subjects together. This is the requirement of the social development for a peron who needs to grasp lots of knowledge. It is also an attempt from Maple Leaf High School teaching system which meets the high standard. This kind of curriculum will make the students benefit a lot.

     在课程开始前,加方校长 Peter Embleton先生简单介绍各个功能教学楼, 以热身的形式平易近人地与大家交谈,对泰达高中加方课程及学分做了一个全面系统的介绍,给九年级的学生带来了不同的心理体验, 期间,华苑的学生们不时用英语提出对BC高中课程方面的问题。加方校长专门提到,从新学年开始,BC课程呈现形式将面临改革,今后的BC课程将融合两个相关学科的内容进行授课,这是社会发展中对“全人”培养的要求,也体现了枫叶高中教学体系对这种高标准要求做出的尝试。更立体地课堂、更交融的学科知识,定能让学生获益更多。

Mr. Liu Changyong, the High School general counsellor, provided the students with the information of administration in the high school. 

之后,泰达高中总领事刘长永介绍了泰达高中的管理模式,让孩子们提前了解和熟悉高中学习生活情况。

   After the assembly, the students joined in the curriculum. The well-organized classes, the excellent interactive communication between the teachers and the students and the deep academic atmosphere made our students feel the charm point of BC curriculum in advance. Some students expressed their feelings after class. They thought that the atmosphere of high school was more active. The teachers paid more attention to the students’quick grasp of the language. With the help of the high-end software, the teacher was good at making the students discuss and compete with each other.  The students said that it was not very difficult for them to understand BC curriculum at their existing English levels.

聆听了介绍后,孩子们自然融入了高中BC课程。课堂上的井然有序、老师和学生间的良性互动和沟通交流以及浓浓的学术氛围让孩子们提前感受了BC学分课程的魅力。几位同学在课后表达了自己的感受,他们认为高中课程中课堂气氛更为活跃,老师十分注意学生们对知识点的快速掌握,在高端授课软件的引导下,善于让同学们以多元化的讨论来进行竞赛。孩子们表示,以现有的英语水平参与BC课程,语言上基本没有障碍。


    Our students showed their great appreciation to the teachers for giving them this opportunity to feel the beneficial BC curriculum and they understood more about the high school life.     

孩子们都表示十分感谢老师们创造这个机会让他们收获满满,并对即将到来的高中生活有了更进一步的了解。
