初中八年级双语老师教学感悟

背景:

八年级的学生在九月学习了Maple Leaf English Book 2的第三单元,围绕“爱和友谊”的话题,我们分别学习了No Greater Love和Friends Again - Forever两篇课文。在第一篇课文No Greater Love中,文章介绍了名叫Helle的主人公从一位成长于希腊孤儿院里面的孤儿,到被Hera女士领养之后备受尊重、关爱的生活,以及她和另一位领养的兄弟最终拥有幸福人生的故事。在第二篇课文Friends Again - Forever中,我们了解了主人公和童年好友Mary在14岁分别之后,通过书信联络直至由于生活变故、家庭责任种种原因失去联络,再到许多年之后幸运地再次取得联络并得以再次相见的故事。同时,学生们也在9月22日校园开放日迎来了自己的爸爸妈妈进入课堂。依我看,他们虽然显得很是紧张,但在课堂上还是更多地情不自禁地流露出开心和喜悦。而这份心情恰恰契合了本单元的主题——爱与友谊。

Background information:

In September, Grade 8 students have learned Unit 3, Maple Leaf English Book 2.  The main topic in this unit is Love and Friendship.  We finished learning No Greater Love and Friends Again - Forever.  In the first passage, we learned the story in which Helle was fed up in orphanage and adopted by a lady named Hera, she was taken good care of in this adoptive family and finally lived a very happy life.  In the second passage, it’s about two good friends since childhood and they had to be separated far from each other, then they kept in touch through letters, and lost contact later.  After years, they fortunately got in touch again.  At the same time, on 22nd this month, students welcomed their parents to classrooms.  I see their nervous facial expressions, but I’d rather take it as more excitements and happiness in their heart.

 

通过清晰地呈现内容,指导学生运用恰当的阅读技巧来学习较长篇幅的阅读文章,是八年级阶段教学的一种策略。在学习了文章之后,我还更加希望学生能够就这些情感方面的话题继续延伸思考,加深感悟。所以,在阅读课后我们将“友谊”的主题融入写作练习。任务要求学生诵读老师提供的三首诗歌样本,然后分组讨论其主题、内容和韵脚,再围绕朋友或友谊创作一首四至六行的诗歌。

It is a necessary strategy to lead students to get the general understanding of passages and help them get detail information through subjective reading skills.  But after learning the passages, I still wish them to get more ideas about life.  Therefore, I set up another poem writing exercise for them to praise Love and Friendship.  After in-class group discussion, here we read the wonderful poems written by my students as below.

Friendship

 

That day you appeared

You told me about Two Friends and a Bear

Later, my dear

We share! We tear!

The same cloth we always wear

Our friendship lasts one hundred years

我深深被她们的诗歌所打动,尽管在创作过程中我们会因为想不到恰当、精妙的措辞而顿足,会因为想不出妥帖、生动的比喻而叹气,但是我们经过一起修改,终于整理出自己喜欢、满意的作品,我觉得这一课已经远远超越了课本。

I am deeply touched by these works.  They’ve already gone much further than the book it self through we work hard together.

教育是一种陪伴。作为老师,能够陪伴着学生一起感受生命中的魅力,同时欣赏并分享这种美,我觉得自己是幸运的,更是幸福的。

Education is a kind of company, people say.  As a teacher,  it’s great for me to be able to accompany students to experience and appreciate the beauty in life and I feel happy for this.
